Because I said I would....
Oct. 18th, 2005 01:54 pmSometimes these little things are fun, or informative, or just a good way to pass a few minutes of time. I don't normally post these, but what the hey, eh?
Post a comment requesting it, and I will:
1. I'll respond with something random about you.
2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.
3. I will construct a funny alter ego for you to use if you need to go into hiding.
4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me. (If possible)
5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.
6. I'll tell you what musical instrument you remind me of.
7. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you.
8. If I do this for you, you must post this on your journal. Feel free to alter the questions, but keep the spirit, and the number of them.

3) Lilly von Smalle, from a cadet branch of the family. Your family immigrated to America in the late 1700's, and lived in the mansions of Newport for almost a century, but your great-great-grandfatherlost most of the family fortune whoring and investing in whaling ships. His investments did well until he spurned his business partner. After that, all the whaling expeditions ran into unusual troubles. Now you work as an assistant to the vice president of a clothing firm specializing in prison uniforms and maternity outfits. At night you study chemistry and go to clubs in fashionable go-go boots. Lilly von Smalle is only your Nom de Plume, of course, and you are really Alice Garlack.
4) "She likes the....." "She ought to Bess, it's her brother!" After dragging stools up to the middle of the stage.
5) Some time in Algebra II, tossing notes back and forth, one of which had 'Blue Blazers!" and a little jacket sketched on it by you...
6) Tenor Sax. Sometimes sultry, sometimes jazzing away, sometimes content to be in the backing section, once in a while in the lead. Rich in timbre, and shiny in color. And sometimes needs to spit.
7) What happened?

She likes the liver, Ben.

She ought to do, Bess. It's her brother's.

4) "Here's your arsenic tea, dear. And your weedkiller biscuit."
7) Such a broad question! I don't think I have enough time in the world to answer all the possible interpretations. Pick a few and I'll be more than happy to answer.
