laurionSunday night / early Monday morning, my maternal grandmother passed away. I made it to the hospital in NH on Sunday, as did as much of the family as possible. We all sat around her as they turned up the morphine and turned off the ventilator, to the strains of Willie Nelson in the background. Tuesday was the wake, and Wednesday (yesterday) was the funeral. My mother is taking it pretty hard, but the family as a whole is pulling through ok. I'm having a mixed time of it, but will be ok. At this point I'm trying to get back into a normal routine, but it has thrown my entire rythym. Bear with me if I'm off my game for a few days.
