We finally have a ceiling in the entryway again.  The landlord has fixed the roof (but not the gutter that caused the problems to begin with), and put new drywall up in the ceiling.  He’s also painted and fixed the railing.

Nice to know it only took 6 months.

Oh yeah, almost certainly. The hope for us is that it doesn't happen again while we're renting. We're here for.. hmm. Another year, maybe? And that's only because where unlikely to try moving while Clinical Rotations are an ongoing concern.
