Got nothing to do Thursday night? Want to play some board games? Folks are welcome to come over around 7pm and hang out and play board and card games. Just let me know if you plan on showing. Oh, and let me know if you need an address, or directions, or whatnot.

Why always Thursday? (pout)

Legacy? BSCF meetings have been on Thursday nights since I started running the club years ago. Over time m schedule has evolved with that as a fixed point. Likewise Wednesdays have almost always been music rehearsal night for me, making my Dance Practice attendance rather limited much of the time. So with a schedule built around these fixed points, when BSCF takes the summer off, and I'm looking to play some games, that's the spot that they fall into. I'm not the only one to set that as Boardgame night; I was always amused when Danger Planet followed BSCF into the Thursday slot, inadvertently cutting a lot of their local audience out (but given the lack of space there, I think that's ok).

That said, what nights do you like, and I'll see about breaking out of the rut a time or two.

Have you gone on to Board Game Geek and looked for people in your area that play?

No, I hadn't heard of BGG. I will definitely check it out now.
