Looking for a webhost?

laurionRecently my webhosting provider, Dreamhost, celebrated it's ninth birthday by doubling bandwidth and storage limits for everyone, and by adding a fistful of new capabilities (like name+foo@domain catch addresses, yay!), and so I thought it a good time to let people know that if they are looking for hosting, I highly recommend the company.
I know one person that they aren't a good fit for, but I have a hard time imagining that there are very many that it wouldn't be true for. I'd be remiss in not mentioning it though.
What they do have now is 200GB of storage, 2TB/month bandwidth, unlimited MYSQL databases, unlimited subdomains, unlimited e-mail addresses, automatic installations of a lot of great web site software like MediaWiki, Gallery 2, and WordPress (the blog software I use), and most importantly to me, a support staff that is very good about responding back, and in general responsive to the needs of the users.
If you sign up for a two year arrangement, they knock off the setup fee and drop the price by 20% so you get all that for only 7.95 a month. There's also a promo code for a limited time for an additional 10% off. So if you sign up, enter the promo code of TENPERCENT.
Yeah, this reads like a commercial, but honestly, its because I'm a very satisfied customer, and just as bad service will earn my scorn and criticism, good service earns my praise and word of mouth advertising.
