On the one hand, this is great! OTOH, I will admit a tiny groan at the realization that my godson will probably be able to whip me at Chess by the time he's 8 if he develops a taste for it.

But once he really understands what's going on, if he seems to enjoy it, remind me to broaden his horizons with some of the period variations sometime...
