I've been sort of vaguely tracking the spread of this meme, and you seem to be using a slightly different strain than the one running through the rest of my flist. Do you mind if I ask where you got it?

I've seen different variants on it floating around for years. This is a recent rewording picked up from a friend.

As for you, I don't know where you came from, but you brought along a devilish imagination, full of vivid and contrasting ideas. And you're not afraid to express that imagination. It fires and fuels you and keeps you young.

Your ability to step back and watch what you're doing, even while you;re doing it, is pretty impressive. It means you are frequently able to look at how you work and play, and say 'How can this be done better? How can I do it better?' This analytic eye, rather than interfering in any way, leads to you being very well respected in your endeavors, and frequently floating to the top. It's a little awe inspiring at times.

And I am supplying a response! Every time I see you, you're having a good time, more or less. There are occasionally the usual low level grumbles, but I think when life hands you lemons, you pretend they are invading starships and shoot them down with your hyper-powered juicer to make, if not lemonade, at least a fun game out them.

You are durable. Solid. Resilient. No matter what twists and turns come up, you're rarely thrown off course, and even then, you find your course again pretty quickly.

You have an amazing ability to be social and gregarious with practically everyone. I think it is the way you manage to share yourself in such a way that other people share back.

I've seen variants around now and again every few years. I have seen the recent flourishing, and along with it, this variant wording that I picked up from my friend jducoeur. He picked it up from somewhere else. At some point someone likely stepped back, looked at the extant wording, and remade it in this form for one reason or another. Big game of Telephone, perhaps.

Also, hi! You seem to have a great big heart and a great big mind, all the better to accommodate the multitudes of loves and interests and professions that have worked their way into your life. Any attempt to sum you up would require a college exam essay book, a blue or black ink pen, and a 3 hour time limit. Many people fit onto a postcard written in crayon. This makes you a very interesting person able to talk soundly on a wide range of topics, and are the sort of person someone could sit and talk for hours with. Also also, you have an awesome smile.
