About None of the Above
None of the Above, formed in 2003, is a semi-professional singing
ensemble in the Boston, MA area. Our repertoire is a diverse mix of
music from all genres from early music to modern works including popular
music and jazz. We have performed at venues large and small in the
Worcester-Boston area. The group has just completed its demo CD and is
now working toward a full release later this year. Stay tuned!
About Fretless
Fretless, a vocal quintet with a repertoire of jazz, pop music and
classical pieces that won third place in the New England Harmony
Sweepstakes in 2004, made its debut in June of 1999 at the First Parish
Unitarian Church in Bedford, MA. The group blends soprano, alto, tenor,
baritone and bass voices of five experienced singers who have appeared
with many other ensembles, performing for audiences in the greater
Boston area, across the country, and internationally. "Fretless" chose
its name to represent the musical freedom --- and challenge --- of
making music with instruments without frets, in this case just the human
voice. Wait 'til you hear them!
About Undertone
Undertone is a dynamic addition to Boston's semi-pro a cappella
scene with its assortment of alumni from several college groups in the
area. As the members of Undertone broke into the real world, they
realized that careers such as information technology and investment
banking didn't offer them opportunities to fulfill their rock star
fantasies. Hence the birth of Undertone in 2004. This group's fresh
sound has been permeating the region from street corners, to area middle
schools and colleges, to the bars of Cambridge. Their repertoire
consists of songs that pop up into Niel and Eric's heads, which usually
include current and old school Pop, Rock, and R&B.
