I have nothing against anime, and even enjoy some of it, but most of it is just odd, cliched, overdramaticized, underexplained, pointless, or just plain bad. All that is, of course, just my opinion, so please don't bombard me with comments telling me I'm wrong. Anyhow, when I came across this: http://www.campchaos.com/show.php?iID=888 , I recognized the work of someone who shares some of my opinions. It's a spoof of Anime where Popeye is called in to save the earth... and it's darned funny.
